Penny O’Connor

Penny worked as an actor writer director teacher in London in 1980’s, re-trained in AT with David Gorman and Margaret Edis in 1992.

Has a private practice in Central London, runs holiday workshops, courses and lessons for AT teachers, trainees, students, beginners on Greek Island of Alonnisos.

She has worked since 1997 at the theatre schools in ArtsEd in West London for Musical Theatre, Acting, MA, BA, and A level students. 

Assistant to Ilana Machover at Queens Park Alexander Training, specialising in voice.

Led workshops for musicians in Thessaloniki, the Ionian University in Corfu; led workshops with Graeae Theatre education programme, Mind The Gap theatre group for special needs; AT consultant for Northampton Theatre production company; visiting lecturer at Central School for screen acting, London Musical Theatre; led workshops at STAT congresses in Oxford and Lugano in ‘What is presence on stage?’ and ‘Higher Creative Self.’
